X, RESOLVE 

To provide for Certain Additions and Improvements at the 
Massachusetts Agricultural College. 

1 Hesolved, That there be allowed and paid out of the 

2 treasury of the Commonwealth a sum not exceeding 

3 fifty-two thousand six hundred and fifty dollars, to be 

4 expended at the Massachusetts agricultural college, under 

5 the direction of the board of trustees, for the following 

6 purposes, to wit : — Thirty-nine thousand nine hundred 

7 and fifty dollars for erecting, heating and equipping a 

8 building for the use of the horticultural department; 

9 three thousand two hundred dollars for the enlargement 

10 the laboratory and a new plant house for the entomo- 

11 logical department ; eight thousand five hundred dollars 

12 for the extension of the central heating system to the 

13 east experiment station, to the proposed horticultural 

14 building and to the botanic museum ; and one thousand 

15 dollars for painting and repairing the dairy building, 

16 barns and stable.
